Happy Anniversary

Chris and I celebrated our 7th year anniversary on Sunday Feb 8th. Where did the time go?
We meet in August 2001 at Rascals (dance club), we hit it off right away. Chris proposed on Christmas day in front of my whole family. He was so nervous. My mother had a trip planned to Hawaii in February 2002. She invited us to go, so a couple of weeks before we left we decided to get married while we were in Hawaii. Chris and I were married at Liliuokalani Botanical Gardens in Honolulu Hawaii. It was very simple ceremony, but very beautiful.

Don't we look young and innocent.

We decided to not spend our money to stay over night anywhere because last year we went up to the Canyons up in Park City and went snowboarding. The first day that we went snowboarding Chris fell and broke his wrist. So this year we decided to take it easy, no broken bones for us!

On Saturday February 7th we ate dinner at Log Haven, up Mill Creek Canyon. It was a expensive but delicious.

Our first course was called Raclette, it contained melted Swiss cheese with a potato thing and some bacon. Chris really liked it, but I wasn't fond of it.

Our Salad was a Arugula salad, it consisted of balsamic vinaigrette, pancetta, roasted grape tomatoes, shaved blue cheese, croutonsned

The main course was Grilled Bison New York Steak with fried brussel sprouts, cherry wood bacon, parmesan pomme frites, green peppercorn butter, glace de veau. It was very delicious.

Our Dessert was Pot De creme with chocolate covered strawberries and different types of mint chocolate truffles. We both loved the dessert, it was very yummy!

After dinner we were going to go to a movie, but we were both very tired so we came home and went to bed.

On Sunday morning we went and had a couples massage, it was ok. But Chris knows how I like it and where my back hurts, so i would rather have him give me a back rub rather than spending the money for a professional. After the massage we decided to go see a movie, we saw He is just Not into you. It was a very cute move, Chris even liked it. After our day without Triston we picked him up from my dads. He was so excited to see us. Even though we were childless for a day we missed him a ton.

What a mess!

Lately Triston has found out that he can open the door to the pantry. Well a couple of nights ago I was busy washing the dishes, I didn't notice that Triston grabbed a bottle of brown gravy mix (the big bottle from costco) and he decided to play in it. He opened the bottle and poured the entire bottle all over the living room carpet . He also got it all over himself. What a mess! The pile of gravy mix was so big that it took me 5 minutes to vacuum it all up, and it smelled like gravy in the front room for a couple of hours.

What a mess!
