Triston's 4th Birthday Family Party

We celebrated Triston's Birthday with the family on Sunday April 18th. I decided to make Lasagna with salad and garlic Bread. We of course had a Transformer Birthday party, I left up all the decorations up from the kid party and the balloons even stayed floating.

After everyone ate we let Triston open his presents. He was so excited. He pretty much got all transformer thing. He got a couple of Transformer robot, Transformer sheet set, and Transformer DVD.

Triston wanted a Optimus Prime cake, so of course I (the super mom) made one. This time it only took me 2 hours instead of the 6 hours it took me last year. I think that I am getting the hang of it. I was really sad when I had to cut in to it. All my hard work gone.
Family that came were; Grandma Carol and Scott, Papa Dent, Katelyn, Matt, Shara and Hunter, Sam, Mindy, Cash and Daxon. Alex's family was unable to make it.

Triston's 4th Birthday Kid Party

Happy 4th Birthday Triston!

This year Triston has been into Transformer. We have watched each movie about 200 times. So when it came to planning his Birthday party he had to have a transformer birthday. This year I started Early, because last year I ran out of time. I researched for party and birthday cake ideas. This year we just had a Birthday party at the house with my niece and nephews and some of my cousins kids. It was very hectic, but fun. We played several games and then we hit a pinata. We played pin the autobot symbol on Bumble Bee, Optimus prime says, Find the cube scavenger hunt. The pinata was pretty cool, it looked just like Optimus Prime. It was a tough pinata to break. Finally Daxon hit it hard enough that it broke. The kids had a lot of fun.

Daxon took off his leg after everyone took a couple of swings. Triston was being a brat and didn't want to take a turn, so I decided to help him.

I bought Optimus masks for everyone. They looked so cute! Triston had fun opening his presents. He got an Optimus costume, transformer toys, a book, a towel, a toy four wheeler and a train.
For his cake I decided to create one that I saw on the Internet. I bought the figurine's and decorated it the day off the party. It turned out ok, it took me a couple of tries to get the "Happy Birthday Triston" on it. I really need to go take a cake decorating class.

We had a lot of decorations. It was fun to decorate for someone so special to me. We kept the decorations up until we had the family birthday party on Sunday. Every day Triston asked me if he could have the Optimus Prim Balloon. I gave out party favors which included a bounce ball, nerf football, bubbles, crazy straw and stuffed some candy in them. Even though it was caos I thought that the party went very well.
