March Weather!

What nice spring day! What ever! Triston and I woke up yesterday to snow! Last week it was nice enough to go outside with only a jacket. Utah weather is so unpredictable. Well Triston was getting stir crazy, so I decided to get his snow suit and boots back out again. We went out in the back yard to play in the snow for a while. He had so much fun smashing the snow with his gloves. He couldn't pick up the snow because he wouldn't put his thumbs in the right place in his mittens. It was kind of funny. He is such a boy. He did much better this time playing in the snow. Last time we weren't very successful. He ended up getting cold and wet and did a face plant in the snow. He ended up in tears. It was so sad.

His favorite thing was when he found out that he could eat the snow, good thing that we don't have a dog anymore. I let him eat snow for a while. When he then noticed the water coming from the gutters I decided it was time to head back into the house. He was so upset, but it was nap time. So we took a nap together. I love spending time with my little boy.

His new thing is that he says "tank you" every time you give him something or if he give us something. He is so funny, the other day Chris had a can of pop and wouldn't let Triston have any. Well Triston didn't like that idea, so he jumped off the couch walked to the pantry pulled out a straw and walked back to Chris so that he could drink his can of pop. Chris couldn't stop laughing. He is such a bright little kid. His other new saying is when we leave he says "Bye, see-ya later!" it is so funny and cute. He cracks me up all the time.

Silly Boy

Triston is a silly little boy. His new thing is to hide under the side table in the front room and play hide and seek. He is so funny!

The other day I couldn't find him after I got off the phone.
I called for him and guess where he was?

He was hiding in the laundry basket laying on the clean clothes right in front of me.

What a funny little kid I have.

Triston and Mommy Time

So since I have been working all the time, I decided to spend time with just Triston and I. We decided to go to the park and play for a while. Triston had a blast. He has no fear. He loved going down the big twisty slide, I thought it was kind of scary for a 23 month old, but nothing would stop him. Finally when we had to go back home, he was very upset that we had to leave.

Unfortunate News

So I haven't had much time to blog recently. Unfortunately Chris got laid off from his work about 2 weeks ago, so I have been trying to pick up extra shifts at work. I have been trying to keep myself preoccupied so I don't stress out and have a nervious break down. Fortunately I have a decent job to help us out. Please keep us in your prayers as Chris tries to find a new job in this trying time.
