Christmas 2010

Christmas Eve 2010 was spent and my Aunt Collette's house. We had a wonderful dinner and we had fun with the family. My sister and I decided to compared bellies, I am 38 weeks and Katelyn is 29 Weeks pregnant. Triston had fun playing with all his cousins and we had fun chatting with family.

After Aunt Collette's house we went home and Triston opened his Christmas eve present. Which of course was jammies. This year he got Mickey Mouse and Handy Manny jammies. He was into Iron man at the time so he had to get a picture with his Iron Man. After we watched the Iron man movie, we decided to go to bed so Santa would come.
Christmas Morning

Triston is not a morning person, so we had to wake him up to open presents. We woke up about 9 am and opened the presents Santa left. This year he got a Mickey Mouse activity book, a Buzz Lightyear scotor, Toy Story figurines, a digital camera, some books, a couple of games and some clothes. After he openned his presents we got ready for our annual family Chrismas party.

Chrismas Afternoon

This year we had our family party at my little brother Alex's house. We ate a yummy breakfast and then we openned our presents. Triston always plays with Daxon's guns when he is over at my brother Sam's house so Sam and Mindy got Triston a battery operated nerf gun. He loved it! All though he lost his bullet within the 1st hour. He also got a Lightning McQueen Car. I wasn't feeling good so I left the party eairly. I went home and slept for a while. Triston and Chris stayed a little bit longer. All in All we had a fun Christmas. Now I am just waiting for my baby to come.

McMullin Santa Party!

We had our annual McMullin Christmas December 10th 2010. We had fun. Triston had a blast playing with all the little kids, and I caught up with some of my family. We played games and eat yummy food. Then the highlight of the night was when Santa came. Triston started by not wanting to stay in the room, but I eventually Bribed him with some chips. When he finally got called up to sit on Santa's lap he was so excited. He told Santa that he wanted a guitar for Christmas. We had so much fun with the family. Can't wait for next year.

Family Pics 2010

I have been trying to get family pictures for a while, but with me working all the time and the weather it was a battle. We were able to get some awesome pictures thanks to my friend Jennie. The only problem was that it was to cold for Triston and he had a hard time cooperating.

The family 2010

This is my favorite picture of Triston!

We had to get a picture of the belly!

I Love my Triston!

I don't know what Triston was looking at but it is a good picture of Chris.

ThanksGiving 2010

This ThanksGiving we were invited to go up to my Uncles Mikes. We ended up having turkey dinner at his church house. There was so many little kids there, between all of the cousins there was 7 kids under 4 years of age. It was very loud. The food was really yummy and we had fun catching up with the family. The kids had fun running around while the older kids played a game and played basketball. It was a very fun day. Triston had fun playing, but by the end he got a little grumpy.

Halloween 2010

This year I decided to save a little money and let Triston be Buzz Lightyear again. Luckily he was ok with that. We have made it a tradition to go to my Dad's wards Trunk and Treat party. Aunt Mindy, Cash, Daxon, and Shara were able to come also. We ate chili and the kids had fun running around. After they announced who won the Chili cook off. They had all the kids go up on stage to show off their costumes. Then we headed outside to go trunk or treating. It was a little cold, but they kids still had fun. Aunt Kate was able to come after work.
I was able to find some time to take Triston to the pumpkin patch. Unfortunately it was really muddy, but he still had fun climbing on the tractors. We tried to go through the little corn maze that they had, but it was to muddy for us. Triston had fun picking out his pumpkin, unfortunately it was the end of the season, so a lot of the pumpkins were rotten. So we had to pick a couple before we found a good one.
On Oct 30th we celebrated Halloween, this year I decided to let Triston carve his pumpkin. He is into Mickey Mouse this year and I bought a Mickey Mouse cookie jar and I decided to use that as a pattern. He didn't like scrapping out the seeds, because it was to slimy. He tried to help me cut out the face, but he didn't last that long, so I finished for him. He was very proud of his pumpkin. I think it turned out really cute. I decided to carve a spider on my pumpkin, and I will never do it again. My hand still hurts.
This was the first year that I didn't take Triston to the in laws, and I decided to finally hand out candy and take Triston out Trick-or-Treating done the street. He was very excited, until he got cold. The weather was not very cooperative. It was raining and very windy. Triston only made it down and around the street. He wanted me to carry him the whole time. I think that if I would have covered his ears he wouldn't have been so cold. I guess we will try it again next year.
I saw a cute pumpkin pizza on studio 5, so i decided to make my own dough and make my own. It actually turn out very cute and it tasted pretty good.

Baby Time!

We found out on August 26th 2010 that we were having a baby Girl. Chris thought it was going to be a girl and I was hoping for a boy. I wasn't very surprised though, because this pregnancy was different. Chris was excited because he thought that if it was a girl that he would pick out her name, since I choose Triston's name. To his surprise that wasn't going to happen. We both needed to agree on the name. His names were Courtney or Casey and my name was Hayden or Trinity. Triston came with us, but he wasn't surprised about seeing the baby, because he saw the baby when I had my first ultra sound.

Baby Decor

I priced out baby bedding and found that it cost about $150 for bumpers, a fitted sheet, bed
skirt, diaper stacker and valance. I wanted to save some money, and decided that I didn't need the bed skirt, diaper stacker and valance so I saw a baby quilt pattern at the fabric store and decided to price it out and it came to less than $80. So I decided to make her quilt. I made bumpers (which I will never do again) to match the quilt. I then decided to make a changing table cover to match also. I was in a sewing groove. I also made a couple of boppy pillow cases, and car seat tent/canopy's, and several blankets to crotch around. I was so proud of myself for sticking in there. I was very grateful for my mom who taught me how to sew.

Turned out ok.

Mommy and Me time

I decided that I have been neglecting Triston to much s enough, so I decided he needed to spend some quality time with Me. On July 14th I decided to be brave and take the three little kids swimming at the Herriman Lake. They had so much fun playing! It was nice to see them have so much fun.

On July 23rd, my dad asked me if I would drive him up to Bountiful so he could march in the Bountiful days parade. So I took him, Shara and Triston up to Bountiful. We dropped my dad off at the beginning of the parade and then I drove down to the end of the parade. I didn't know what to expect, because I have never have been up to Bountiful Days. At the end of the parade there was a carnival. We ended up playing on the playground for a while before the parade finally made it down to the end. I decided to get the kids face painted, Triston got a Shark on his arm and Shara choose a beautiful butterfly. We ended up getting snow cones and headed over to the parade route. We waited for Grandpa to come and then we decided to play at the carnival.

The kids decided to go on the shark slide. We only paid for one time to go up, but Triston and Shara found ways to go up the slide multiple times. They had so much fun I had to prey them away to do another activity.
The kids ended up going over to the bouncy house to jump for a while. The pictures didn't turn out so good, but the kids had fun. We only had enough tickets to go on one more ride and the kids wanted to go on the swings. They were happy when they first got on, and luckily they had an extra seat belt to keep the kids in their seats, because Triston was terrified by the second time around. You can see the terror on his face. He hates to swing, I don't know why he wanted to go on it. Shara wasn't to thrilled about the swings either. We ended up heading back home after a potty brake and the kids passed out on the way home. It was a fun afternoon.
On July 24th Triston and I took my dad up to Salt Lake to march in the Pioneer parade. I haven't been to this parade for years. We ended up finding a place at the end of the parade and waited for my dad to come down the parade route. We ended up getting snow cones and sat to watch the parade. Luckily we only had one potty emergency. After my dad came down the parade route we ended up heading home. He was really tired, and it was starting to get really hot.

After we got home from the parade I asked Katelyn if she wanted to take the kids to the lake to have fun. It was really crowded, but the kids didn't care they still had fun in the sand and water. After the lake we went home and took a much needed nap. I didn't buy any fireworks, because I was scheduled to work, but I ended up getting cancelled. When Triston and I heard some fireworks going off I took him down the street and we watched the neighbors fireworks.
I love that I was able to feel better enough to spend time with my favorite little man! I love him so much!

New Port Beach

We were unable to go to the Beach on Sunday, July 4th because we got there so late. So we decided to go to Newport Beach on Thursday July 8th. It was overcast and very windy on the pier, but that didn't stop the kids from jumping in the water! They had so much fun and Triston talks about the beach all the time.

We stayed there for about 2 hours and washed up and started heading home.

It was such a long drive, that we decided to stop in Mesquite to get some needed sleep. We headed home the next morning. I wish that I could have afforded to fly, but at least we were able to go on a vacation this year.

Disneyland Day 3

We decide to go to both parks on the 3rd day and just ride what we wanted to ride. We walked into Disneyland and there were tons of characters, and of course we had to get pictures with Mickey Mouse. Triston loves Mickey Mouse, he wasn't shy at all. Shara was pretty excited to.

After getting pictures with Mickey, we decided to take the train around the park. While Triston was climbing up into the train he tripped and scrapped up his knee. He wasn't very excited to ride on the train.
After we rode the train around the park we decided to go to Fantacyland land. So we headed towards the castle. We were able to get some pictures, but they didn't turn out very well.
The first ride we rode on was none other than Dumbo. The kids had fun.
Then Shara and Katelyn went on the Tea cups while Trison and I watched and ate some popcorn.
We then went to the Story Book ride. I haven't been on this ride for years, I wasn't missing much. It was really short and the kids weren't excited.
We then headed back over to the Buzz Lightyear ride. We ate lunch and relaxed for a while then we decided to go on the space ship ride. Triston was excited at the beginning, but once the ride started he got scared. Then we decided to go see if Buzz Lightyear character was back. I was so excited to see Buzz, because Triston has been into him for a while. Unfortunately he was pretty shy when we first got up to him, but he warmed up really fast.
We then headed over to Pirates Lair. The kids had a blast climbing and getting dirty. Triston didn't want to leave. We then decided to head over to California adventures.

Of course we had to stop off and get a picture at the main entrance.
We decided to grab and ice cream and head over to the Pixar play parade. Unfortunately it hasn't changed much since last year.
We then had made reservations at Goofy's Kitchen for dinner, so we had to walk down to the Disneyland hotel. It was a far walk. The food was ok, but we were there for the characters. Triston had a blast he wasn't shy at all. Shara's face lit up when she saw the characters, it was so cute.
After dinner we went back to California Adventures and went on Toy Story Mania again. We also rode on King Triton's Merry-go-round. We stayed there until closing time. Fortunately it wasn't packed because the Water of Color show had technical difficulties, so it wasn't packed. We went on Toy Story Mania several times. I think that it was our favorite ride. We had so much fun.

Disneyland Day 2

Since the day before we stayed at Disneyland we decided to go to California Adventure. We first went to Muppet Vision, it was a cute 3D Muppet show. Triston seemed to like it, but I don't think that he has ever seen the Muppet's before. Next we decided to head over to Monsters Inc ride.

After Monsters Inc ride we walked out and found a few Disney characters; Mr Incredible and no other then Woody! Katie and I were so excited, but the kids were pretty shy.
We ate lunch then decided to go and watch the live Aladdin Musical spectacular show. We walked around the theater and waited in line, but Triston had another objective. There was a group of people that were eating McDonald, waiting for the show to start and Triston took it upon himself to make himself comfortable and sit down with them and help them eat their fries. He just started talking and sat down by them. They thought he was so cute that they made the biggest mistake, they offered him some French fries. He loves McDonald's fries! The at first gave him a couple and then they gave him a bag with them in it and Triston decided that they were his now. He stole a whole bag of French fries from them. They were really nice to let him do that. He was so happy after that. He was glowing! The show was awesome! The genie was so funny, they had a lot of special affects. Triston fell asleep at the beginning, I guess it better than him being noisy.
After the show we had a little incident with Katelyn's phone, so one we found it we decided to go ride some more rides. We went and snapped some photo's with Lightning McQueen and Mater.

We ended up going to the Redwood Creek Challange trail. The Kids had so much fun running and playing. We stayed there for a while, when we were leaving we saw Kenai and Koda from the Disney movie Brother Bear. Triston was a little afraid, but they were so cute.

After the challange trail we decided to head over to Bugs Life and splash in the water. Triston and Shara had so much fun.
The kids played in the water for a while then we decided to go on a few more rides. We headed back into Bugs Land and rode some of Flicks carnival rides. We rode every single ride and the kids thought that the lady bug ride was the funest.

After Bugs Life we had dinner and then decided to go over to Toy Story Mainia! It was a long ride, but it went pretty fast. We got our 3D glasses and were ready to play some arcades. Triston did pretty well for a 3 year old. Shara did even better. The only problem was that I didn't put Triston's restrain on tight enough and he kept banging his head every time the ride turned. Poor kid, but he still enjoyed himself. I think that this was my favoirte ride! Tristons first score was 8,900 points. He did Awesome!
After Toy Story Mainia I wasn't feeling good, so we just sat down and decided to wait for the Water of Color show. We waited for a while, but it was worth it. We were sitting on the back side of the show, but it was good enough for me. Triston didn't watch much of it, we wore him out. He passed out before the show started, but Shara liked it.
After the show we decied to head back to the hotel, but on our way out there was music and a dancing area at the front of California adventures. So the kids decided to have fun and dance a while. Triston was hilarious, I don't know if we could call it dancing, but he was having a blast. I was to tired, so Katelyn joined in and danced a little. They were having so much fun! We danced for a while then we heading back to the Hotel. We had a busy but fun day.
