Christmas Morning 2012

Christmas morning was so fun! The kids had a blast opening up all the presents. Hayden was a little more distracted than Triston was though. This year Triston can spell his own name so he was reading every label on ever present to see if it was his. It was pretty funny, after he spelled his name out and then get excited and say "hey that's me, this is my present."

This year the kids got one large present from Santa. Triston got a Transformer Bike and Hayden got a play kitchen.

Swenson family Christmas Morning Breakfast

So after we opened presents we went over to Sam's house and had breakfast with the family. We had yummy breakfast and loved spending time with the family. 

 Unfortunately we stayed only until 1 pm, because I ended up having to work that night. 

So the kids went to Chris' house and spend Christmas night with their dad. 

Christmas Eve 2012

This year we spent Christmas Eve at my Dads house with the Heagren's side of the family. My Aunts Collette, LeAnn, Uncle Kent, Mike, Mark and my cousins Dammon, Carmen, Zak and his wife Juliana came. 

Then my BFF Cyndi and her kids came over and we opened Christmas Eve jammies and the kids had fun playing with each other. Cyndi, Kate, Matt and I decided to play our favorite card game Nerds.

After all the fun we went home to wait for Santa to come. 

Writing Santa A Letter

I made this cute Santa card and I decided to let Triston write his Christmas list in it to send it to Santa. 

He was pretty excited. 

McMullin Christmas Party 2012

We went to the McMullin Christmas party and Santa Clause showed up. When he called Hayden's name she immediately started crying. Poor girl had to sit up there bawling while mom was pictures. When it was Triston's he went right up and told Santa that he wanted a Transformer bike and some Ninjago Lego's. 

My niece Hunter went right up to Santa with no problem. Shara asked for her two front teeth front teeth. And my Nephew Cash wanted Justin Bieber tickets. 

Hayden's 1st Hair Cut

So I finally decided that Hayden had enough hair to get a hair cut. I have to admit I was a little nervous, but she did awesome. 

Thanksgiving 2012

For Thanksgiving this year my dad invited us to his house for dinner. We ate a yummy dinner and then the kids decided to play a little. They love their cousins.

The kids were able to spend time with their dad and grandma earlier that day and then I was able to pick them up and spend time with them that night. I didn't stay there long, because black Friday shopping stated at 8 pm that night. So Kate and I went out shopping all night and into the next morning. Good thing I didn't have to work that night we were exhausted. 

Sledding 2012

The first snow of the year I finally decided to use the sleds that I bought last year. 

We went with Cyndi, Peyton and Kennady. There were some great hills over

 by Peyton's school, so we decided to go there. 

The kids had a blast.

Halloween 2012

Triston marched in his first Halloween parade. While we were waiting Hayden was being a princess and twirling around in her Snow White Dress that I made. For my first dress I ever made I think it turned out pretty good. 

We decided to go see Grandma Swenson and then we just went Trick-or-Treating around the neighborhood.  It wasn't that bad but we had a fatality, Hayden lost her shoe and some stupid kid stole my candy bowl off the front porch. Never again, I will never leave candy out again. I feel bad that I didn't notice that she lost her shoe, at least I was holding her the majority of the time.   

Carving Pumpkins 2012

We had fun carving pumpkins with 

Kennady, Peyton, and Shara.

Triston carved a bat, Shara carved a ghost in a pumpkin, Kennady carved a witch and Peyton carved count Dracula.

Halloween Pictures 2012

So I decided to get the kids pictures done in their costumes. 

 Triston decided to be Luke Skywalker this year. 

 I decided to make Hayden's costume this year. Got it done the night before. I made it to long, so I modified it before Halloween by cutting it shorter and fluffed up her dress with more tulle.
