Sick baby!

Poor Triston, he woke up yesterday with a hacking cough, and it got worse during the day. So I took him to the doctor, they said that his has the beginning of bronchitis. They said to watch him for any signs of fever, difficulty breathing and diarrhea. They didn't even give me any antibiotics. What a waste of money. Well today he decided to spike a fever of 101.6 F and I noticed that his nose was stuff and he is having diarrhea. Well I called back with these new symptoms and they still said to give him tylenol and to keep watching his breathing. Poor kid he is so miserable. Well he finally feel asleep. I hope that he get better soon. Its so sad when your baby is sick. As for me I'm a little sleep deprived. I have worked the last 5-12hr night shifts out of the last 6 nights.

My Grandma's B-day

Saturday was my Grandma Swenson's 80th Birthday. My Dad and Uncle Dave threw her a Birthday party. We ate and had birthday cake. I was able to catch up with some of my cousins, aunts and uncle. Triston had fun playing with Shara and Cash. I was hard for him to run around because her house is small and there was a lot of family there.

Grandma, Grandpa, Shara, Triston and me.

(Yes, I chopped off my hair)

Holidays 2008

New Years:
New years eve was uneventful. I ended up having to work at 10 p.m. that night. Chris stayed home. He finally got out his Christmas gift, Guitar Hero World Tour, and was playing it before I left. Triston was a little jelous and wanted to play with dad's drum, so I got Chris' old drums out for him to play with. They were just the right size.

Aren't they cute!!

As for me I tried to celebrate it at work, but pt needed always need help when you don't want them too. I brought sparkling cider to celebrate with everyone, so we drank that though out the night. I also cooked sukiykai (Japanese food) for everyone. It was really delicious. As for New Years Day we just stayed home. I slept most of the day and had to go back to work that night.

Christmas Eve:

Christmas this year was pretty eventful. I decided to host a Christmas eve dinner. I think that it turned out ok. My guests were my dad, Katelyn, Shara, Chris' dad, Fred, his wife Jaelann and Auto his Freds son. I cooked Tri Tip steak with mash potatoes. It was really taste.

Our guesses were Chris' biological dad Fred and his wife Jaelann and Freds son Auto. Chris dad Richard, my dad Mike, my sister Katelyn and our neice Shara.

I wanted to start a new tradition. Triston got to open a present early on Christmas Eve. Of course it was his pajamas. They were dogs dressed up like reindeer. They were really cute, to bad he doesn't like them much, because they have feet.

Everyone went home about 9 p.m. except Katelyn. She stayed after to play rockband. I finally took her home about 11 p.m. because Shara was fussy and it was passed her bedtime. I was very lucky to get home ok. The roads where horrible, I almost got stuck. I hate to drive in snow.

Christmas Day :

On Christmas Day we didn't wake up until 9 a.m. We tried to open presents, but Triston open his first present (Handy Manny tools) and didn't want to open any more. We had to help him a little.

After we opened presents we got ready and drove in a blizzard to go to my brother Sam's house to have Christmas breakfast and to open family presents. We stayed and played a while then we went to my Grandma Swenson's house to visit them on Christmas and to give them their gifts. After Grandma's house we came home a passed out. What an exhausting day, but we had fun.
