Playing in Legoland

Since we were in California we decided to take Triston to Legoland. Chris and I have never been there before, so we thought it would be fun. We rented a mustang convertible and drove down to Legoland. We got there a little late, but we decided to make the best of it. The first ride that we went on was Safari Trek. It was fun for Triston, because he LOVES to drive a car. The lego animals were pretty cool looking. We then tried to go on a roller coaster that was close by, but they didn't let Triston ride on, because of his height. So we decided to go on a boat ride, but when we got up to the front the ride broke down. We were having much luck!

.

We went over to a play town and Chris and Triston took a ride on the Legoland Express. It was kind of lame, but Triston liked it. We let him play for a while, then we decided to go on a couple of more rides. Here are a couple pictures of my silly monkey climbing all over everything!

We know that he loved to drive a car, so we faked his age to 3 years old and let him drive a car around on a race track. He did OK, but he is not very coordinated. He couldn't push the peddle and drive at the same time, but he did make it half way down the race track before time was up. He then got a drivers license which he sat down on a bench and investigated it for a couple of minuets. He is a funny little kid!

We then went and rode on the helicopters which Triston couldn't get enough of. So after I went on it with him, he had to drag his dad to go on it again. He cracks me up, because he couldn't even reach the controller that moved the helicopter up and down and around in a circle. His laughter and smiles were priceless. He was in heaven! We went down to Fun Town Fire Academy and our family won first place in a race of 3 other families. We were awesome! After that Chris took Triston on an airplane ride I am not sure if he liked it, but we made him go on it anyways!

We walked around for a little while and finally came to a place called the "Hideaways." It was a playground with nets to climb, slides to slide down and much more. Luckily it had stairs throughout so I didn't have to climb through anything. Triston had so much fun! He didn't want to leave.

We then went to Mini USA, It was awesome! I always wanted to make a city out Lego's. They had the Golden Gate Bridge, Daytona Raceway, New York City, Las Vegas Strip, Washington D.C. and much more. It thought it was pretty cool! I don't think that Triston enjoyed it as much as I did.

Then we went to a "Build and Test" area and played with Lego's. Triston had fun, but I think Chris had the most fun. He decided to build Triston's name in Lego's. It look cool, but Triston didn't want his picture taken by it. He was not having it!

New at Legoland, or by Legoland is a new marine life aquarium called "Sea Life." It was fun, Triston was about to see a giant lobster, bigger than his head! He was also was able to feel a star fish an a Hermite crab. He had fun looking at all the different kinds of fish. We saw Nemo and his Dad and we saw sing rays and sharks. It was fun look at everything, but we had to go through it fast, because it closed at 8 p.m. We then started heading home and Chris decided to take the top off of the convertible so we drove with it down for a while, it was soooooo cold, so we decided to put it back up before we jumped back onto the freeway. I only wish that we would have gotten there sooner, because I felt like we had to rush everything.

Looks like fun. We went there in May. I thought the actual "lego cities" were cool. Think about building those blocks....
