Happy 8th Anniversary Chris!

Chris and I celebrated our 8th year anniversary. I can't believe it has been 8 years already. I wish that we were able to go back to Hawaii where we got married, but maybe some day we will get back there. Here are some pictures of us on our wedding day. I was 22 and Chris was 24. We were very young.

This year we couldn't decide on what to do. Should we stay home or go away somewhere for the weekend? We decided to stay here to save some money. We decided to got out to dinner at Tuscany restaurant. The food wasn't to bad, but the best part was the dessert! The restraunt was OK, but it wasn't very private. We were place in the middle of a big room in the middle of 7 other groups. I don't think that I enjoyed it very much. I think that we will go somewhere else next year.

Here is a picture of the kitchen from the front lobby. It was really a pretty place.

For our appetizer we got the Chiefs Hearthbread selection. It was really good,
but it was bigger than we thought and it filled us up so much that
we forfeited the salads.

This was what I ate. It was the pan seared chicken picatta with olive oil
mashed potatoes and asparagus in a light caper butter sauce.
It was really good. I have tasted better mashed potatoes, but it wasn't that bad.

This is what Chris ate . He has the pan seared veal picatta with mash potatoes
and asparagus in a creamy red sauce. He said that he liked it, but I tasted it
and it tasted weired.

For Dessert we didn't want to share, so we got different ones.

I got an Old Fashion Chocolate Cake with
Ganache Frosting and Vanilla Bean Gelato.
It was so yummy in my tummy!

Chris got the Peanut Butter Moose Tower. It was yummy also.
I went back and forth between both of the desserts.
After Tuscany we went and saw From Paris with Love. It was a pretty
good movie, but it had a lot of violence. We had a good time. We ended
up having a quiet night at home with out Triston. It was nice to
be able to sleep in and not be worrying about Triston.
